Summary
We may collect the following data in order to provide you features like Portal Gun skins and roles in our Discord server:
• Your Minecraft username & UUID
• Your Discord username & id
• PayPal transaction id
This data is used to show your skins to other players and to assign you roles in the Phanty's Home Discord server. We don't in any circumstance share this data with third-parties.
1. Introduction
This document is issued to inform the end user of how we collect, store and use the data provided by them.
2. Definitions
“We” or “Us” refers to PortalMod and its team members.
“You” refers to you, user of our Website, Software, or Discord® server.
“Website” refers to the website accessible at https://portalmod.net.
“Software” refers to our Minecraft® modification “PortalMod”.
“Discord Server” refers to our Discord® server “Phanty's Home”.
“Donation” refers to the donation process on our Website.
“Boost” refers to the boost feature of Discord®.
“UUID” refers to the identification system used by Minecraft®.
“GLaDOS Bot” refers to our Discord® bot, an automated program.
“Reward” refers to any Cosmetic that is given to You.
“API” refers to the infrastructure of PortalMod Cosmetics.
“Cosmetic” refers to any cosmetic usable within the Software.
“DM” refers to the Discord® feature of Direct Messages.
3. The data we collect
The data collected by us is retrieved, stored, and used, both automatically and manually. In the following subsections are the details of what data we process and how.
3.1. Donation
The donation process, which is performed telematically on our Website at https://portalmod.net/donate, through PayPal®, will collect the data you provide during the process itself. This data consists of: Minecraft® username and UUID, Discord® username and id, PayPal® transaction id. The Reward will then be linked to your Minecraft® UUID to be used within the Software, and be visible to anyone using the Software.
3.2. Boosting
By Boosting our Discord Server, the GLaDOS Bot will collect your user id and will count the days that your Boosts have been applied for. After 90 days of Boosting, the GLaDOS Bot will proceed to ask you for the Minecraft® username to assign the Reward to, and will then collect the data you provide. This data consists of: Minecraft® username and UUID, Discord® username and id.
4. How we use your data
After obtaining a Reward through Donation or Boosting, some of your data is publicly available through the use of our API, which is also used by the Software (section 4.2). By inputting a Minecraft® UUID, the API will respond with a list of Cosmetics, if any, linked to the Minecraft® UUID and, therefore, to the Minecraft® account it represents.
4.1. Discord roles
After performing either the Donation or the Boosting processes, your data is used to assign a Discord® role to your Discord® user, which is used to grant access to exclusive Discord® channels.
4.1.1. Supporter role
After Donating, the GLaDOS Bot will notify you of the successful Donation via DM, and will use your Discord® username and id to assign the “Supporter” role to your Discord® user, inside our Discord Server.
4.1.2. Booster role
After Boosting, Discord® will automatically assign the “Booster” role to your Discord® user, inside our Discord Server.
4.2. In-game Cosmetics
Your Minecraft® UUID will be used to show equipped Cosmetics linked to your Minecraft® UUID to other users participating in the same session within the Software.
5. How we protect your data
The data you provide will never be shared with third-party entities, with the exception of what is stated in section 4. The stored data collected from you is always encrypted and will solely be used by us for the scopes defined in this Privacy Policy.
6. Your rights on the data we collect
At any time are you able to access, rectify, or delete the data that we collect automatically or manually, by contacting us. To ensure the requesting individual is yourself, it is required that you follow the correct procedure described in the following subsections.
6.1. Donation
To issue a request to exercise the rights on your data that had been collected through a Donation, it is required that you contact us at portalmod.official@gmail.com using the same email address that was used for the Donation via PayPal®.
6.2. Boosting
To issue a request to exercise the rights on your data that had been collected through Boosting, it is required that you contact @phantomeye or @serialsniper on the Discord® platform, using the same Discord® account that was used to Boost our Discord Server.
6.3. Data deletion
By requesting the deletion of your data from our systems, all data regarding you will be erased. After the deletion of your data, all Cosmetics connected to your Minecraft® UUID will cease to be available to you.
7. Other websites or services
We may provide links to other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third-party website accessed by following any link provided by us. The Privacy Policy of any other website or application will apply to your access or use of that website or application. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of said other websites before proceeding to use them.
8. Changes to the Privacy Policy
PortalMod reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the email address specified in the PayPal® account used for the Donation, or to the Discord® user used to Boost our Discord Server. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately.
